Helping you find your authentic path forward
Leanne Cameron
As a Registered Counselling Therapist, my passion is working to support individuals who feel disconnected from their authentic selves.
In my counselling, I work hard to relate to my clients through personal experiences of times in my life when I too felt that I was at a crossroads and was caught in a destructive victim narrative. My own self-discovery and empowerment journey lead to me wanting to help others understand what their journey can mean for them and that it is never too late to work at improving your life.
One key area I like to work on with clients is to review attachment style. Together we explore the environment and circumstances of upbringing, factors that were present, and how individuals have adapted and internalized their survival maps. This work will help clients stop repeating negative patterns that don’t contribute to living their best lives.
It is my belief that once underlying emotions and beliefs are identified, clients have the ability to liberate themselves from destructive patterns and live life more authentically on their own.
